The Band

In class the other day I really enjoyed listening to The Band. More specifically I thought that the lyrics and story behind, "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" I thought it was really interesting how The Band, a group from Canada illustrated the hardships during the Civil War for the Confederate Army.

This is probably my favorite song by the group, The Band. Whats your opinion? Do you like the fact that they aren't from the South yet they perform a song like this?
